The themes and the deep emotional authenticity and sincerity that the story held especially the struggles Alice goes through and her thought process helped me confirm my own decisions for the future I want to have: to have peace; to have happiness; to be able to overcome all the sad situations that may happen in my life and to still be able to look forward to living my life. As an only child myself, I felt the intensity in her emotions, her actions, her way to see the world and the desperation to have stability in her life as quickly as she can, deeply.
