I have a confession to make:
I started reading this book thinking of it as a cute school romance read to let my mind refresh a little bit but I found a story that astoundingly resonated with my own fears and uncertainty of own future. The themes and the deep emotional authenticity and sincerity that the story held especially the struggles Alice goes through and her thought process helped me confirm my own decisions for the future I want to have:
to have peace; to have happiness; to be able to overcome all the sad situations that may happen in my life and to still be able to look forward to living my life.
As an only child myself, I felt the intensity in her emotions, her actions, her way to see the world and the desperation to have stability in her life as quickly as she can, deeply.
The Book talks about what many people realise too late or never in their life.
I hope all the people who read this book are able to realise that. Thank you, universe for giving me the sign to read this book now 🙏
